This is Steve, it never fails, alway sone set of files to leave out. this a critical update. discovered my error after flying FINALLY to ernjoy my work and all thos ewho allowed theis freeware to ve used. It is TYHE BST!

Follow James Thompson' SIMPLE instructions.

DO NOT FORGET THE insructs for the 3 .bgl files. DO NOT DELETE. The difference is night an day! Fly over the hotels. Water once surrounded them remember? Now on a atoll. LANDCLASS and WATERCLASS files to enhance scenery and ALLOWS hard soil surface on all roads so use a HUMMER or a jeep. I did it! Cool island!

Society Islands Scenery for FS2004 only
Designed by James Thompson

What this package includes:-
Coastlines, landclass for missing islands, waterclass, roads for Maupiti, Bora Bora, Tupai, Raiatea, Tahaa and Huahine islands that all lie to the northwest of Tahiti.
Missing & updated landclass/ updated waterclass files for the motus situated out by the reefs.
Flatten files for around the large default aiports and motus of bora bora

Other freeware required:-
1. Bill Melichar's 2004 scenerys:- so far Bora Bora Airport (Bora2.zip) Huahine (huahine2.zip) and tahiti (tahfs9.zip)
Make sure these are layered above my scenery in the FS9 scenery library
2. French Polynesia mesh for CFS2 by Rolf Keibel and John Applegate (fpsimesh.zip)

Other recommended Payware/freeware :-

Payware landclass for Society Islands available from http://flightsim.reiffer.com/
Pete Wildings PWOver15.zip for those that use DX9 water reflections

***Installation***

1. Locate your folder "Ocen" in your main FS2004 scenery folder and double click it. Then move the temporary hold folder provided to the scenery folder and then cut and paste following files into it being very careful to move the right ones:-
HP907370.bgl
RD907370.bgl
ST907370.bgl

alternatively rename the files to .bgx instead of .bgl

2. Copy and paste the Society Islands folder to an addon scenery folder of your choice.
The MS default is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon scenery\

3. Start FS2004 and in the scenery library click add area and find and select the Society Islands folder and click ok.
5. Exit & Restart FS2004 selecting any of the following airports:-

Motu Mute
Fare
Uturoa
Maupiti

PLEASE NOTE: If you use payware landclass for this area you will need to layer it below this scenery in your priority list but layer Bills scenerys above this and the mesh.

****Uninstallation****
untick or delete area "Society Islands" from the addon scenery library
replace or rename the three files above back to their original names/location
